Under what circumstances would you, as a single parent, move from?

Under no circumstances would I make that kind of decision without telling my teen child. As a single mom or a mom with a spouse. My child as a 16 year old person has the right to know as soon as the decision was made, if not having the right to weigh in on how they feel about it while the decision is being made. In other words, as a single mom or a mom with a spouse, I would tell my teen about the move as soon as I found out about the move and started to consider it. Depending on why the move is happening. At 16 they only have 2 years left. If they wanted to stay there and a friends family was willing to let my 16 year old live with them, I would offer to send them money every pay check to help with the financial burden of having my child. I would not want to take my child from his/her friends and the school that they are comfortable with. Of course if the college that they want to go to was in Arizona then they would move over to me when they graduate from high school. and go from there.
