What can a parent do, in the state of Texas, if a child of 17 years?
In Texas the age of majority is 18 years so once they hit that age there isnt anything you can do. But even though a 17 year old is not yet legally an adult, there isn't a whole bunch you can do. A child who is age 16 or 17 is still technically a child.
